Björn Myrberg will become the Chief Financial Officer from October 1, Carl-Fredrik Edström will take over the aviation and space operations area on September 1, and Tommy Petersson has assumed the role of head of Test and Evaluation on August 1, FMV states in three separate announcements.
Björn Myrberg is recruited from the role of Chief Financial Officer at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service and has previously been the Director of Finance and Planning at MSB and worked at, among others, the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency and the Swedish Armed Forces.
– It will be exciting and fun to have the opportunity to contribute to FMV's important mission, says Björn Myrberg, Chief Financial Officer from October 1, in FMV's announcement.
Carl-Fredrik Edström comes most recently from the Swedish Armed Forces, where he was the implementation leader for NATO within the Air Force and head of the Nordic division, as well as previously the operations manager for the Air Force and wing commander at F 21.
– We are now entering a period with a high pace, extensive material deliveries, and close cooperation with the Swedish Armed Forces and our international partners, says Carl-Fredrik Edström, head of the aviation and space operations area from September 1.
Tommy Petersson has been leading the Test and Evaluation operations area since August 1. The area has the main responsibility for the verification and validation of the Swedish Armed Forces' technical systems at test sites around Sweden.
– Our mission is important for Sweden's defense and in several cases also for other countries, such as Ukraine, says Tommy Petersson, head of Test and Evaluation.
