The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration has ordered additional mobile satellite terminals from Ovzon for 72 million SEK, according to a press release from the company. Deliveries will begin in the third quarter of this year.

The terminals are fully compatible with the Ovzon 3 satellite, whose built-in processor enables direct communication between terminals without ground infrastructure.

– The additional order confirms a continued strong demand for our SATCOM solutions, says CEO Per Norén.

Defense Sector News reported on May 31 that FMV signed an agreement with Ovzon for satellite capacity, services, and terminals worth 1.04 billion SEK. According to the company, the new order complements the previous contract and strengthens the Armed Forces' long-term capability in satellite communication.
