- BAE Systems Bofors has long been working to strengthen the air defence capabilities of Sweden and our partner countries. With today's signing, we can, together with FMV, develop a demonstrator of our latest product - the air defence system TRIDON Mk2, says Lena Gillström, CEO of BAE Systems Bofors

Tridon Mk2 is a self-propelled air defence system that can be mounted on various vehicles and also offloaded onto platforms. The system is based on the Bofors 40 mm automatic cannon L/70. Today, a variant of it is used on, among others, the Swedish Combat Vehicle 90 and the Anti-Aircraft Vehicle 90.
