The order is made through a previous framework agreement that spans ten years and includes both support weapons and ammunition. The weapons in question are the Pansarskott M/86 (internationally: AT4), Granatgevär M/18 (Carl-Gustaf M4), and Robot 57 (NLAW).
– We are pleased to be able to place such an order for the delivery of ammunition over a longer period. This is important for FMV to be able to provide the Swedish Armed Forces with qualified materiel, ammunition, and equipment in the long term. At the same time, longer contracts create conditions for the industry to adjust its production capacity, which also contributes to more sustainable production, says Jonas Lotsne, Head of Army Materiel at FMV, in the agency's press release.
