FMV Delivers More Vehicles to the Swedish Armed Forces
FMV has begun delivery inspection of the first 20 out of 300 ordered roll-off trucks from Volvo. These vehicles are part of a larger delivery of heavy trucks to the Swedish Armed Forces.
These days, FMV is conducting delivery inspections on the first 20 of a total of 300 roll-off trucks ordered from Volvo. After passing inspection, they will be delivered to the Swedish Armed Forces. Since last year, the group for defense-adapted heavy trucks within FMV's army operations area has delivered, among other things, 451 heavy trucks, distributed across eight truck types, to the Swedish Armed Forces, FMV writes in a press release.
– Our aim is to deliver appropriate transport capability to the units. A prerequisite for this is a very good collaboration with the Swedish Armed Forces and our suppliers, where we constantly learn and try to improve. It also requires a creative and efficient collaboration in our administrative environment to deliver with a focus on FMV's core mission: the right equipment for a stronger defense, says Hans Gunnarsson, FMV wheel vehicle systems engineer in the press release.
