The National Agency for Public Procurement has the overall responsibility to develop, manage, and support the procurement carried out by contracting authorities and entities. The agency is also the statistical authority in the procurement area and provides guidance on state aid issues to municipalities and regions.

Together with her many years of experience as a manager in the public administration, she has good conditions to lead and develop the agency. Anja Clausin has worked at the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration as Business Director since 2019. She will assume her position as Director General of the National Agency for Public Procurement on 1 June 2024. On LinkedIn, she comments on the announcement:
