Finland is delivering its 34th package of defence materiel assistance to Ukraine. The President of the Republic made the decision on 15 September 2026 on a proposal from the government.

The total value of the package now being delivered to Ukraine amounts to approximately 290 million euros, according to the Finnish Ministry of Defence (Puolustusministeriö). The total value of the defence materiel Finland has delivered to Ukraine has thereby reached 3.6 billion euros. The package contains materiel that Ukraine explicitly requested at short notice. In terms of monetary value, it is the second largest of all the packages Finland has delivered to date.

"Finland continues to support Ukraine in the country's defence against Russia's illegal aggression. Throughout the war, we have provided Ukraine with materiel assistance based on the country's needs. In addition to donating defence materiel from our stocks, we have purchased products from the Finnish defence industry, some of which are included in this package. In this way, Finland's support for Ukraine also strengthens the capacity of our own defence industry," says Finland's Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen.

For operational reasons, and to ensure that the delivery reaches its destination, no further detailed information is being provided about the package's contents, method of delivery, or timetable. Both Ukraine's needs and the resources of the Finnish Defence Forces (Puolustusvoimat) have been taken into account in the decision on the assistance, according to the Ministry of Defence.
