The Finnish Ministry of Defence (Puolustusministeriö) has authorised the Finnish Defence Forces (Puolustusvoimat) to order technical support services from Patria Aviation Oy and Insta Group Oy. This is stated in a press release from the Ministry of Defence.

The orders cover support services for military systems within aviation, maritime defence, and reconnaissance, surveillance and command systems, and are to be delivered primarily during the period 2026 to 2030.

According to the Ministry of Defence, the value of the procurement from Patria amounts to approximately 62.4 million euros excluding value-added tax. The procurement from Insta Group amounts to approximately 17.1 million euros excluding value-added tax.

"Producing services that are important to the defence forces by utilising the domestic defence industry is an essential part of military supply preparedness," says Defence Minister Antti Häkkänen in the press release.

Patria and Insta are the defence forces' strategic partners in lifecycle support services for military materiel and systems, including training and data security.
