Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI) in Norway is calling for new technological solutions to enhance the protection of ports and other maritime areas. The focus is on addressing threats from underwater systems, sabotage, and unwanted activity.

According to FFI, the goal is to test and evaluate solutions from small and medium-sized enterprises that can be quickly adapted for military use. Among the requested areas are autonomous surveillance systems, sensor and detection technology, as well as physical protection systems and decision support tools.

Solutions that are selected may be funded as part of FFI's test and evaluation programme. Applications are conducted in two rounds, with the first step being an initial technical description. The deadline for applications is 28 November 2025.
