Bertin Exensor is a Swedish subsidiary of the French defence group Bertin Technologies. Recently, the company announced that they will soon have delivered all units of Flexnet/TMM Buren to FMV. Flexnet is a portable sensor system intended for use by the Home Guard.

Defence Sector News contacted Pontus Agerteg, Nordic Sales Manager at Exensor, for a comment regarding the final delivery.

What have you delivered to the defence?
We have delivered several components from our sensor system called Flexnet. It is a portable system which, for the Home Guard, will consist of two backpacks - a command backpack and an operational part - with accompanying equipment. The equipment itself consists of various sensors that connect to a unit, supporting the Home Guard soldier in their surveillance tasks.

What is the current status of the delivery?
The vast majority has now been delivered to the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration. FMV is now ensuring that everything is in place for the Armed Forces to be able to put it into use before it is distributed to the units.

What is next for Exensor?
We are now concluding the major delivery to the Home Guard, and moving forward, we will provide support for the deliveries we have to the army. We are experiencing great interest in our systems and have increased our production capacity this year to meet the delivery demands of our existing and new customers.
