EuroTrophy has signed a contract with KNDS Deutschland worth 330 million euros for the delivery of the Trophy Active Protection System (APS) to the Leopard 2 A8 programme in Lithuania, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and Croatia.
In EuroTrophy's press release, it is stated that the agreement includes the delivery of Trophy APS to the Leopard 2 A8 programme of the four countries. The press release mentions that the contract also includes spare parts, courses and training packages, as well as other logistical equipment for lifecycle support of the system.
According to the press release, Trophy APS is included as a standard configuration in the Leopard 2 A8. EuroTrophy further states in the press release that Trophy has been integrated on tank types such as Leopard 2, Abrams M1, and Merkava IV, as well as on platforms like Boxer, Patria AMV, and Namer APC.
