Eltel has signed a framework agreement with the Swedish Armed Forces for the delivery of masts and towers, as well as associated components. The agreement, which spans two years with the option to extend for an additional five years, has a total value of up to 400 million SEK, the company states in a press release.

- The agreement means that Eltel continues as a national supplier to the Swedish Armed Forces of masts and towers, as well as parts related to these structures. We thereby increase our commitments to the Swedish Armed Forces and strengthen our position as a leading player in critical infrastructure, says Lars Nilsson, CEO of Eltel Sweden in the press release.

According to the agreement, Eltel's structures are to be designed and built in Sweden. The company already has agreements with the Swedish Armed Forces covering maintenance and installation services for masts, towers, and other infrastructure services at garrisons and air bases.
