Elbit Systems Sweden Receives Order for Satellite Communication Systems
Elbit Systems Sweden has received an order from FMV to develop and deliver transportable satellite communication systems. The contract includes options for additional systems, and delivery is planned for 2023.
The order includes a trailer-based satellite communication system, the program is designated as VSAT. The systems are designed to be easily transported and quickly deployed, and to be fully operable remotely. The contract will be delivered in 2023 with options for further extension.

Elbit is a world leader in satellite communication, from stationary to mobile solutions, and the VSAT project is an important entry project for us. Additionally, the systems will follow NATO standards and can be easily integrated with NATO's existing communication networks, says Tobias Wennberg, CEO of Elbit Systems Sweden.
