Denmark Orders 129 Patria 6×6 CAVS
Denmark has ordered 129 Patria 6×6 vehicles as part of the multinational CAVS program. The first deliveries are expected to occur this year.
Denmark has ordered 129 Patria 6×6 vehicles under the multinational programme Common Armoured Vehicle System (CAVS), announces the manufacturer.
The deal follows Denmark's formal joining of the programme in April, making them the fifth country after Finland, Latvia, Sweden, and Germany to proceed to series production. The first vehicles will be delivered this year.
Sweden has participated in CAVS since 2022 and ordered an additional 321 vehicles (here called Armoured Terrain Vehicle 300) in March 2024, valued at 5.3 billion SEK. Pre-series vehicles were delivered in 2023 and the project has EU support through the EDIRPA programme.
