Denmark has decided to donate an additional 1.1 billion Danish kroner to Ukraine as part of Donation Package XXVII. The support includes maritime equipment, maintenance of tanks, as well as educational and training materials for the Ukrainian armed forces.
According to a press release from Denmark's Ministry of Defence, 400 million kroner of the amount is specifically allocated for education and training. The package also includes funds for fuel donations and support within rehabilitation, both carried out within the NATO framework.
– It is absolutely crucial that Denmark continues to support Ukraine's defence struggle with military aid at all levels, says Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen in the press release.
Donation Package XXVII includes total support valued at approximately 2.7 billion kroner during the period 2025–2028. Of this, 1.6 billion kroner goes to donations via the Ukrainian defence industry, including drones, ammunition, and missiles. All funds are financed through the Danish Ukraine Fund.
With the new decision, Denmark has since 2022 undertaken support measures for Ukraine amounting to a total value of approximately 70.3 billion kroner, concludes the Ministry of Defence.
