The Prime Minister visits the naval base in Karlskoga
Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson visited the Saab Kockums shipyard to observe the production of the two new submarines of the A26 model and also the naval base in Karlskrona. During a later press conference on the helicopter deck of HMS Carlskrona, he described the new submarine class as "cutting-edge technology at the forefront of the world" and added that "one feels proud as Prime Minister," according to a press release on the government's website.
US Secretary of Defense visits
During the US Secretary of Defense's visit to Stockholm, he and Defense Minister Pål Jonsson traveled with HMS Härnösand from the naval base in Muskö to Berga. There, a Gotland-class submarine and a landing on an archipelago island with Combat Boat 90 were showcased.

Minister of Financial Markets visits the Swedish Fortifications Agency and FOI
The Government Offices announce via their press service that Minister of Financial Markets Niklas Wykman traveled to Umeå to visit the Swedish Fortifications Agency and the Swedish Defence Research Agency. Wykman received an introduction and tour at FOI and also met Deputy Director Lena Nyberg. The visit then continued to Umeå garrison for a meeting with representatives from the Swedish Fortifications Agency and the Swedish Armed Forces.
Minister for Civil Defense visited Ymer and the Coast Guard in Luleå
The Minister for Civil Defense, Carl-Oskar Bohlin, visited the Swedish Maritime Administration's icebreaker Ymer and the Coast Guard's coastal station in Luleå. In the meantime, he also visited Sunderby Hospital, where the hospital's doctors showed him the hospital's various functions with a focus on preparedness in healthcare during mass casualty incidents, crises, and war.
The Secretary of State for Defense received the EU Commissioner responsible for the internal market
The Secretary of State for Defense, Peter Sandwall, received the EU Commissioner responsible for the internal market, Thierry Breton, who traveled to Karlskoga to meet with the Swedish defense industry. The visit included facilities at BAE-Bofors, Eurenco, Nammo, and SAAB. "Sweden has a rich industrial legacy, particularly in defense equipment and ammunition," says Thierry Breton in a video he posted on Twitter and continues, "Sweden has a key role to play in the EU production of ammunition."
Timo Pesonen, Director General at the European Commission's Directorate-General for Defence Industry and Space, who leads the Commission's work on maintaining the competitiveness of the EU's defense industry, was also present during the visit. Additionally, Jan Pie, Secretary General at ASD, Europe's defense industry association, as well as Niklas Alm and Matilda Karlsson from its Swedish counterpart, the Security and Defense Industry Association, SOFF, participated.
During the visit to SAAB's facility, the EU Commissioner saw the anti-tank missile Robot 57 and the anti-tank weapon m/86, internationally known as NLAW and AT4, according to images posted on SAAB's LinkedIn. BAE Systems Bofors announced via LinkedIn that CEO Lena Gillström received the delegation to present the company and its production. During the visit to Eurenco, they met the company's Swedish team and learned more about the company's manufacturing process.
