Construction Begins for Saab's New Office in Lund

In the spring, Vectura Fastigheter will commence construction of Saab's new office building in Skåne. The planned move-in is autumn 2025, and the companies Kockums and Combitech will relocate to the state-of-the-art building, according to a press release from Vectura on May 5.

The property is designated as a protected object and is therefore subject to high security requirements. The new office will be certified according to LEED Gold. According to the real estate company, the certification requires extensive efforts to minimize a building's environmental impact by using energy-efficient solutions, renewable energy sources, and having efficient water management.

- I am very pleased with the investment now being made in Skåne. This is an important initiative for Saab at a time when there is a high demand for our products, and we will need to grow in the number of employees. Several operations are now being gathered in state-of-the-art, purpose-built premises to continue designing and developing submarines and ships of absolute world-class, says Mats Wicksell, head of the Kockums business area at Saab.
