Clavister has been selected as a member of the winning consortium for the European Defence Fund (EDF) call 'Land Tactical Collaborative Combat' (LATACC) project. The LATACC project, coordinated by Thales, aims to enhance the collaborative capabilities of European coalition forces in land combat, Clavister writes in a press release.

The project, funded by the European Commission with 49 million euros from the European Defence Fund, involves a consortium consisting of 34 participants from industry and research institutes from 13 European countries. LATACC's main objective is to develop a solution that optimises and accelerates decision-making and response among European coalition forces in high-intensity conflict situations. The project specifically focuses on enabling coordination between different land systems developed by various member states, promoting interoperability, and facilitating cooperation with other domains such as air, space, and cyber, Clavister writes.

Clavister will contribute in the areas of cybersecurity and AI technology to the LATACC project. The company is expected to receive approximately 4.8 million kronor in funding for its role in the project. The collaboration includes a consortium of large companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, research institutes, and authorities from various European countries. Among them are Saab and the German-Swedish AI company Helsing.
