BAE Systems has been awarded a contract worth 184 million dollars from the United States Marine Corps for the production of 30 additional Amphibious Combat Vehicles (ACV). This is stated in a press release from BAE Systems, published on 14 January 2026.

The press release indicates that the order is part of full-scale series production under the framework agreement for production lots 5 and 6, and that the current sub-order is referred to as FRP 6A. With this order, the total number of ordered ACV-30 vehicles amounts to over 100 units, according to the company.

BAE Systems states that the ACV platform is designed to transport troops and equipment and can be integrated with various systems, including a 30 mm turret solution from KONGSBERG Aerospace and Defence Inc. According to the press release, the company's ongoing work also includes other variants of the vehicle, such as ACV-Personnel, ACV-Command, and ACV-Recovery.

The work on the ACV-30 programme is to be carried out by BAE Systems at facilities in Johnstown and York in the state of Pennsylvania, as well as at the Naval Warfare Information Center in Charleston, South Carolina, where the integration of the turret system will take place.
