Babcock International Group states in a press release that the company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Danish company Everllence, formerly MAN Energy Solutions. The purpose is to explore a strategic partnership concerning energy and propulsion systems for the Arrowhead frigate platform.

According to the press release, Everllence could become a strategic partner for energy and propulsion systems in upcoming Arrowhead programmes as part of the partnership, and the collaboration will also explore solutions for future Arrowhead variants as well as technical support throughout the vessels' life cycle. Babcock notes that the first of three ships in Poland's Miecznik class, which is based on the Arrowhead design, has recently been launched. According to the company, the Arrowhead platform is based on the design behind the Iver Huitfeldt-class frigates and has been selected for naval programmes in the United Kingdom, Poland and Indonesia.
