Swedish Avioniq has announced that their simulation solutions AqLab and AqModel have been selected by the International Test Pilots School Canada (ITPS Canada) for use in the company's fleet of military training aircraft. Delivery is planned to begin in January 2025, with operational use later that year.

Mikael Grev, CEO and founder of Avioniq, comments:

– With AqLab and AqModel in their training tools, ITPS Canada will be able to recreate real threats quickly and effectively to prepare their students for the challenges they will face in combat.

ITPS Canada trains test pilots and combat pilots from both civilian and military organizations worldwide. The new systems will provide students with the opportunity to train with realistic models of modern missiles, which is intended to improve their decision-making in complex combat situations, according to Avioniq.
