– We are very pleased to have been selected to compete for the opportunity to demonstrate the impact these capabilities can offer Team Hypersonic (UK) for this critical program, says Mikael Grev, founder and CEO of Avioniq, in the company's press release.
The project, Hypersonic Technologies & Capability Development Framework, has a budget of one billion pounds and is expected to be completed in seven years. A total of 90 organizations from industry and academia have been selected to participate in the program, which is divided into eight parts.
Avioniq states in a press release that they will submit technology for assessment within the part that includes modeling and simulation and mission planning.
– Avioniq's model simulation framework allows users to reduce the time needed to produce, analyze, and work with accurate missile models tenfold, reducing the time to build them from months - even years - to hours or days, says Mikael Grev.
The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration signed a multi-year agreement with Avioniq in November to implement their AqLab and AqModel software within the Ministry of Defence and defense authorities, which FSN previously reported on.
