A total of 1,399 people applied to the program during the application period, the highest number since it became a university education at the Swedish Defence University. This year, late applications were also accepted at the beginning of April, resulting in an additional 82 applications.
Eligible applicants will receive their admission notifications on antagning.se, and those who need to supplement with military grades from ongoing conscription and security clearance will be conditionally admitted. In addition to regular students, there are also those who study parts of the program as commissioned education.
– The forecast shows that approximately 600 people will be eligible and admitted to the program this year after the ongoing reviews, tests, and interviews. At most, we have admitted 452 people, which was last year. However, it should be noted that not everyone accepts their place. Historically, about half accept.
