The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) has delivered a new flatbed truck to the Swedish Armed Forces (Försvarsmakten), according to a press release from FMV. In total, FMV has ordered 300 trucks based on the already well-established Volvo FMX concept.
The flatbed trucks are all-wheel drive with a wheel configuration of 6X6 and equipped with tarpaulin and tail lift.
– It is a good addition to the Swedish Armed Forces, as it meets a wide range of transport needs, says Thomas Larsson, project manager for heavy wheeled vehicles, FMV.
The truck is designated FLB14 LY S VO/T.
