Snigel has entered into a multi-year framework agreement with the security company Cubsec, covering uniforms, personal equipment, and protective vests. The agreement has a total value of approximately 15 million SEK, and so far, orders worth 2.8 million SEK have been placed.
– Snigel combines high functionality with quality and user focus, making them a very strong partner for us, says Jonathan Rung, Deputy CEO of Cubsec, in a press release.
The agreement includes a new, unified uniform system for Cubsec's security guards, order guards, and protective guards. Instead of separate uniforms for different roles, the solution is based on the same basic garments that are adapted through clear markings. The uniform system is modular and based on military-proven layer-on-layer principles, adapted for civil security operations. It aims to provide increased flexibility and functionality in varying environments, missions, and seasons.
Snigel views the agreement as part of a strategic initiative to broaden its customer base towards more private security companies. The company's experience from the defence and government sectors is expected to help meet the private security market's increased needs, with similar demands for flexibility and system adaptation.
– The agreement with Cubsec is an important step in our ambition to broaden Snigel's focus and strengthen our presence in the private security market. Our background in government and defence has given us valuable experience in developing products used in various system configurations, which we now see an increased need for in the private security sector as well. We look forward to a long-term collaboration with Cubsec, says Malin Hlawatsch, CEO of Snigel.
