The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) expands the order of Terrain Vehicle 24 together with Finland. The new vehicles are to be delivered to the Swedish Armed Forces (Försvarsmakten) during the period 2026–2028.

According to FMV, this involves additional vehicles of the model 300 Sisu GTP, which in Sweden is referred to as TGB24. The contracts are valued at approximately two billion kronor, and the order is made via the joint Swedish-Finnish framework agreement. FMV states that the expansion has been made possible by Sisu Auto OY increasing its production capacity.

– It feels really good to be able to deliver these vehicles to the Swedish Armed Forces. We have just started the delivery of the previous order […] The fact that we are now adding additional vehicles to the Swedish Armed Forces means a desired increase in capability, says Caroline Viberg, head of the wheeled vehicle unit, FMV.

Sweden and Finland have together ordered over 600 vehicles in several configurations, including single cab, command, air defence, medical, and CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) indication. The newly ordered vehicles are to be delivered within the same timeframe as the previously placed order.

FMV received the first terrain vehicles in August 2024 from Sisu. These included both the troop transport variant with space for ten people and the double cab variant with space for five people.
