The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) has delivered the first vehicles of the TGB24 (Terrängbil 24, or All-Terrain Vehicle 24) type to the Swedish Armed Forces (Försvarsmakten). The delivery took place at a ceremony in Stockholm.

FMV states that the first 20 vehicles consisted of ten troop transport vehicles and ten double-cab flatbed variants. The vehicles were delivered to the First Life Battalion at the Life Guards (Livgardet).

The TGB24 is manufactured by Finnish supplier Sisu Oy. The vehicles are splinter-protected and four-wheel drive, with a gross weight of 16.5 tonnes. The troop transport variant accommodates a total of ten personnel (two plus eight), while the double-cab flatbed variant with a tarpaulin carries a total of five personnel. The vehicles are built on a common base chassis, where modules can be swapped to create new variants.

The procurement has been carried out in cooperation with Finland under a joint framework agreement. FMV states that the framework agreement is based on shared supply security and the ability to operate and manufacture the vehicles jointly. In total, Sweden and Finland have ordered more than 260 vehicles. In addition to the troop transport and double-cab variants, the order includes variants for single-cab, air defence, command, medical, and CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) detection, which will also be delivered to the Swedish Armed Forces.
