HANZA har tecknat avtal om att förvärva fem utvalda fabriker inom tungmekanik och komplex montering från kontraktstillverkaren Fortaco. Fabrikerna är belägna i Finland, Estland och Polen och tillför cirka 1 300 medarbetare samt cirka 170 MEUR, motsvarande cirka 1,9 miljarder SEK, i årsomsättning. Förvärvet stärker HANZAs europeiska tillverkningsplattform och är ett viktigt steg i genomförandet av strategin HANZA 2028.
