Flexotrap AB, a Swedish developer of modular and environmentally adapted bullet trap systems and deployable shooting ranges, has completed a directed share issue of SEK 5 million. The investment, led by NXT Resilience AB, will enable increased delivery capacity and accelerated expansion into international markets, with a particular focus on NATO-related demand.
Demand for modern and flexible shooting range infrastructure is increasing as defence forces and security actors intensify their training activities. In particular, there is a growing need for scalable and deployable solutions that can be rapidly established in various operational environments.
Over the past year, Flexotrap has established a growing presence in the European market and achieved several key milestones, including deliveries to French special forces, expansion of an existing shooting range facility for the Swedish Armed Forces, and established dialogues with multiple NATO countries. The company currently maintains a strong sales pipeline with both end users and system suppliers.
We have an established supply chain and deliver with high precision. This investment enables us to further strengthen our capacity and meet the increasing international demand we are seeing. At the same time, it allows us to continue growing without compromising on quality or delivery times, says Elias Mibesjö, CEO of Flexotrap.
The capital injection will be used to strengthen the organisation and enable deliveries in ongoing and upcoming projects, with a focus on international expansion within NATO markets.
Flexotrap is established within NATO’s supplier system via NSPA and is preparing for continued positioning within the alliance’s procurement structure. The company’s solutions are particularly relevant in the development of Host Nation Support, where the need for rapid, secure, environmentally adapted and mobile training infrastructure is increasing.
In parallel, discussions are ongoing with system integrators and industry partners to integrate Flexotrap’s solutions into larger defence-related programmes.
Flexotrap addresses a clear and growing need within modern training infrastructure for defence and security. The company has established a strong position with both its technology and market presence, and we see strong potential to accelerate its international expansion together, says Michael Gunnarsson-Ferm, representative of NXT Resilience AB.
With the new capital in place, Flexotrap will continue its growth journey with a focus on meeting increasing demand and establishing itself as a long-term player in modern shooting range infrastructure in Europe.
