This week, Sweden and Finland became full members of the Medical Support Partnership, a part of the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA). The collaboration, which already includes Canada, Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Norway, aims to strengthen and streamline the medical capabilities of the member nations' armed forces, writes FMV in a press release.

– We look forward to joining this partnership alongside Finland. It opens up great opportunities for joint procurements and collaboration with other nations to enhance our medical capabilities, says Johan Granéll, product leader for health and medical care at FMV.

The Medical Support Partnership focuses on multinational procurements that adhere to NATO standards. The model aims to facilitate logistics, create economies of scale, and ensure stable medical capacity. Membership also provides opportunities for Sweden to contribute its expertise in medical logistics and innovation, which strengthens both Swedish and international preparedness.
